Meet Rusty Burnside
Rusty grew up poor and knew early he didn't want to stay that way. At sixteen, he and his brother opened a mechanic shop in Idaho — his first business, and the first proof that entrepreneurship was his way forward.
He went on to run a shop in Mesquite, Nevada for thirteen years, building a "village" of relationships that helped him expand and eventually sell at a strong profit. Confident he'd cracked the code, he moved to Wyoming to build an online business — and eight years later, he was flat broke, back in Utah, and for a time sleeping in his car.
